Support for families
A home from home, not a hospital
You'd be forgiven for thinking that our hospices are like hospitals, but they are fully accessible and have been built and designed to be like a home-from-home.
Each hospice is located in a tranquil setting with quiet reflective spaces, sensory gardens and specialist play equipment. We offer care, support, practical help and the chance to relax in beautiful surroundings.
We will welcome your child and your whole family. We have plenty of spacious accommodation for parents and siblings, and everyone is welcome to make use of all the facilities and activities at our hospices.
Care therapies
Enriching lives, not just treating them
The care offered at each of our hospices is not simply about medical and nursing care for babies, children and young people, but about enriching their lives and their families.

It was the first time we could properly relax, knowing that we could go down at any time to see Phoebe or call the team in the middle of the night to check in on her

Our care team
Run by extraordinary people
The Care Teams at our hospices are multidisciplinary teams from a wide range of backgrounds, including nurses, other professionals and carers.
Each team is led by a Head of Care and works a shift system, so there is good continuity of care and a balance of different skills on every shift. The Care Teams create a relaxed, informal but very supportive atmosphere.
